Done with your web-porn? Play Zookeeper!

Photobucket - Video and Image HostingHere's a very fun and addictive puzzle game that I've been playing for a number of years that I thought you'd like. It's got that classic, Japanese look to it, and it's so easy to play, your mom could do it blind folded, hung upside down, lit on fire! So the object of this crazy, fun game is you, the zoo-keeper, must get all the escaped animals back in their cages. To do that you must switch two side-by-side animals to match 3 like animals in a row. Then they'll disappear. That allows the animals above to fall down into place, so there's a bit of strategizing, as well. That's all there is to it. Score as much as you can before the timer runs out. If you get enough animals, you move on to the next level. The better and faster you get, the harder and faster it gets! It's so simple and so fun, and it's not even a Nintendo game! What the eff? Enjoy.

FINANCE YOUR NEW ANNUAL PASS!

From MousePlanet.com:

"While many Disney fans were chatting about the official announcement of the 2009 "What Will You Celebrate" marketing campaign, the Disneyland Resort quietly announced another new program to cast members. Starting this fall, Disneyland Resort passholders will be offered the opportunity to finance their Annual Passports over 12 months.

Passholders will make a deposit equal to the cost of a one-day, one-park ticket, then pay the balance over 12 months. Payments will be automatically charged to a credit card placed on file at the time the passport is purchased. This option will be available to new passholders starting November 4, 2008; and for renewals on January 1, 2009. The program will be offered only to residents of Southern California, and is available for all four types of annual passport.

There's more good news for new passholders who purchase their pass on their birthday—not only can the Birthday Ticket offered in the What Will You Celebrate promotion be upgraded to an annual passport, but it will serve as the down payment you would otherwise need to make if you choose to finance your pass. If you time it right, you can buy a new Premium Annual Passport on your birthday, use the Birthday Ticket as your down payment, and pay less than $30 a month for your Passport."

Awesome!

Go to Disneyland for FREE on your birthday!!!!

Dale's 34th Birthday, 2007
*Dale and Mickey on his 34th Birthday, 2007

The Disney Parks are offering lots of great "What Will You Celebrate?" packages for your families, significant other, or just yourself in 2009! Most notably, you can go to a park on your birthday and get in for FREE! But wait a sec!!! What the EFF (FUCK)?? Some of you are already an Annual Passholder, so you are thinking, "this offer don't mean shit to me", right? Well, if you still have a pass in 2009 and you go on your bday, Disney has some pretty fab gifts for you.

You can choose from:

"a birthday fun card in an amount equal to the price of a 1-day One Day/One Park base ticket* for you to use on your birthday for merchandise, recreation or fun activities at select participating locations at Disneyland® Resort; or A special birthday FASTPASS® ticket+ for certain attractions at the Theme Park you visit on your birthday; or A 1-day One Day/One Park base ticket for you to use any time until your next birthday."

Some restrictions apply of course. Make sure you read all the details correctly to get what you want from Disneyland.

This is a pretty neat idear. Disneyland in many ways is mostly about the celebration of things and creating memories. And you are sure to remember what you did on your birthday in 2009 if it's at Disneyland. :)

TOMS shoes gave big on Sunday

Hey y'all,

The TOMS/Element event on Sunday was a big success. Actually it was kinda hard work - I painted/drew on so many shoes. There was this one dude who wanted me to do comic book superheroes on his shoes (he saw in my artist bio that I was inspired by comic book art). I was soooo nervous - I though that I was gonna screw his shoes up but when I started Spidermans face/mask....it all came back to me. It's like I was in sixth grade again trying to draw spiderman kicking the crap out of punisher. Haha!! The guy was really excited and I was glad that my first pair went well.

If you missed it you can see pictures from the event on our companies website, www.elementeden.com

ALSO I made a new piece for an art auction. See (below)!

More Disneyland pics randomness care of Denise!

LOL!!! I do believe the one picture of Aaron and I on the teacups is when he was avoiding getting on a cup with me (cuz I'll spin you silly!), and at the last minute I hijacked the one he was getting on! Yessss, love it!

Get Your Fries While You Still Can!

That's right folks, McDonalds is packin' up shop(s). All the french fry locations, including our beloved wagon across from Big Thunder Mountain, and the Burger Invasion location in Cali Adventure, will be closed from September 2nd thru the 27th, and will be turned into an as of yet unknown food service location. No more hot n' salty fries and soda while waiting in line to see the goat! Awww. :'( What could possibly replace that wonderful combination of acceleration and turbulence with high sodium and cholesterol on that crazy train ride? Many restaurants in the Disneyland Resort are updating their menus for a much desired "healthy" alternative, so we'll see if maybe another fruit/veggie cart turns up at one of these locations. I vote for a "A La Carte" taco truck! Tacos and a beer before Big Thunder sounds pretty fuckin' dope to me!!! Hahaha. :P

Birthdays & Killers & Car Bombs

Tuesday night some of us headed over to Casa Bianca and The Chalet in Eagle Rock for a little birthday celebration for our friend Peter. WOOT, DJ LATE START! The whole wheat pizzas, mozzarella sticks, and bread were in full effect, while Mo was bouncin' off the walls rappin' & rhymin'. Haha. She is just a big energyball, that girl.

Late Start blows...Nice crusty, pitchforked doo!
Mo Hittla Skittla!

Down the street at The Chalet we all got our dranks on. Jagger shots? Bleck! Aaron "The GameKeeper" taught us this game called The Killer where you pick pieces of paper out of a hat, and whoever gets the one with the "X" on it starts killing by winking at it's victims. But the killer can't be caught winking, cuz you can call them out, but if you're wrong, well, you're dead too. I think Ellen killed most of us. It's always the quiet ones, isn't it? We also played finger-wave ...yeah, don't ask.

So, Ali & I had our very first Irish Car Bomb that night (why did you buy us drinks, Peter! It was your birthday! we should've been buying you the drinks. Ha ha. But by the looks of it, you had pleanty by the end of the night). Man, what a tasty drink. I was surprised it went down so easy when we slammed it. I felt like I had a brick in my stomach after though. I think Ali is sure to have another. :)

-Dale

Ingredients:
  • 3/4 pint of Guinness or a similar Irish stout
  • 1 shot consisting of half Irish whiskey (Jameson's, Bushmills, etc) and half Irish creme liquor (Baileys)
  • 20 oz pint glass
How to Drink:
  • Float the creme liquor on top of the whiskey in the shot glass.
  • Take the shot and drop it into the pint of stout ...
  • Slam it quickly before it curdles.

Poses

Here's some pics that Sarah emailed me. So awesome! I forgot about our praying pose on Tower! Kim gets 1st prize for thinking out of the box, or really for her just being Kim. :) I love our pic we got with Donald too. I always wonder what that person inside there is really thinking or doing. Do they smile when their photo is taken too? What do they wear under their costume? Hmm. Ha ha. My mind wanders.. Aww, sigh, how much longer do we have to wait before we can go back again? -Dale
